Hello! My name is Lindsay (she/they) and I am a self-taught baker and artist based out of Richmond, Virginia. I’ve always been drawn to a variety of creative mediums, studying graphic design and printmaking in college at VCUarts, and then illustration and ceramics on my own time. However, it was in the art of baking that I discovered my most recent artistic endeavor.

Since I was little I’ve spent my time (free time and procrastinating time) in the kitchen. There’s always a homemade baked good on my counter, any spare change I have goes toward funding my ongoing quest for delicious food, and I am forever the designated friend for making birthday cakes. What began as a simple way I know how to express my love to my friends turned into a real devotion and eventually a small business. I approach baking with the same dedication and imagination that I would any other art form, and whether it’s for a milestone celebration or just a simple treat on a Tuesday, every cake is designed to make the moment memorable.

In addition to my artistic passions, I am a jig-saw puzzle enthusiast, a barista, a slightly better than good cook, and an expert chiller alongside my silly tabby cat. I am a believer in the power of: daily sudoku, tender and honest people/places/things, weekly game nights, nice seedy bread for PB&Js, lists (in general), baked goods for every special and non-special occassion, cappucinos, and porch sitting.
